About This Space 

Kitty’s Place is a two bedroomed studio style apartment with adjoining rooms, set in the beautiful Eden Valley, Cumbria, which is fantastic for woodland and river walking as well as hosting fantastic, quiet roads for cycling. We’re 30mins from The Lake District National Park, and 10-15mins from Carlisle Airport, Hadrian’s Wall and Carlisle Castle. Next door is a traditional English Inn, with restaurant quality food, real ales and a warm welcome.

The Space

Kitty’s Place is an upstairs area with two bedrooms, galley kitchen and bathroom. There is a communal space in the first bedroom with seating and 55″ smart TV if you want a quiet evening in. Kitchen and bathroom can be accessed from the first bedroom via the second bedroom or via a shared corridor.

Guest Access

We have ample parking space in the pub car park, which guests are free to use.

Other Things To Note

The kitchenette only has a combination microwave, toaster and kettle, along with all the basics of cutlery and crockery and cafetière, there is no hob in the property.

We provide continental breakfast items for the first night, including milk, orange juice, bread, butter, jam and cereals. If you’re staying for longer than one night, please ask for details of local convenience stores to replenish items.

Kitty’s Place is above a traditional inn, which serves locally sourced ingredients, real ales and nice wines, so there can be some restaurant guests coming and going into the early hours and other noise from a traditional working pub.

The village has a pub restaurant, which is at the heart of the community, and where you’re sure to meet friendly locals for insights into the area. From our front door you can wander along to the Eden River for a peaceful riverside walk.
